It is true when you cut off sugar you get withdrawal and feel tired throughout the day (s). I tried reintroducing organic granola bars but found it hard to control eating only half a bar. For people with ibs it seems if you eat more than half a bar, you may get bad results. I found the best diet so far is eating fodmap diet: beets, sweet potatoes, zucchini, tomatoes and lean turkey. Never felt cramps! And whole wheat (so far so good). And if you need energy: walnuts (small amount).
